The jacket is worked in garter stitch in one piece starting on left front, knit towards the left sleeve, the back, the right sleeve and finishing with right front.

Tapestry needle, stitch holder, 3 little buttons

GAUGE
Using 2,5 mm needles, 25 sts. and 52 rows to obtain 10 cm over garter stitch.

although I haven't made the sweater yet it looks absolutely beautiful!

This was a fun knit! Pattern was easy to follow. I knit it up in a single color and it’s just as cute as the stripe pictured. I still need to add the perfect buttons but my granddaughter is going to be so cute in this very soon! Thank you for the great pattern! I learned a little from this project too. Next time I use a hand dyed yarn, I’d change skeins halfway through the sleeves so the front and back were each from the same skein and matched better. I’ll likely make more of these and try the stripe soon.
