KIMONO JUMPSUIT
FLORENCE MERLIN
The kimono jumpsuit with V-neck and long sleeves is knitted from the bottom up. The front wrap fastening with Icord detail on the side. The jumpsuit pieces are knitted separately, then seamed together. The edges and Icord ties are made at the end.

Newborn / 3 months / 6 - 9 months / 12 - 18 months
FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
Chest: 22 / 23 / 25 / 28 cm.
Leg height from crotch: 15 / 18 / 21 / 25 cm.
Height from neckline to crotch: 34 / 37 / 40 / 43 cm.
Total height: 43 / 49 / 55 / 61 cm.
Shown in size Newborn.
YARN
Fonty BB Mérinos (100% Wool - Merino, 200 m per 50 g ball)
3 / 3 / 4 / 4 Balls in Color no. 0866
NEEDLES AND NOTIONS
2,5 mm needles
3 mm needles and set of double pointed needles
GAUGE
30 sts and 40 rows to obtain 10 cm in St st on 3 mm needles.

Lovely item although the pattern was a little difficult to follow in areas. Maybe the translation. I’m an experienced knitter. Beautiful item though

This is a beautiful pattern but there were some places that were a bit confusing and hard to follow. It was almost like some parts of the pattern were missing. I had to guess at some of it. If you aren’t an experienced knitter, I think this would be very difficult to complete. That being said, if you can figure it out, it is a very cute little romper.

The jumpsuit design is adorable and for the most part turned out fine. I do have a couple issues … it is apparent in the English version of this pattern that the designer only translated the direction from French and didn’t check over the translation. The pattern is long and clumsily written with sentences and phrases making little sense to an English knitter. On many directions you have to use your own judgement and knowledge which for beginners and some intermediate knitters is quite difficult. I also didn’t like the end result after seaming my pieces together. This could had been easily designed to be knitted in the round. I also felt deceived that the work is so highly rated on Instagram and Etsy but when I checked Ravelry, all English knitters had the same problems as me..
