I'm a real beginner, so it was my first time getting a pattern with a chart. Deciphering that added some time to my learning curve, but eventually I figured it out. And because of this, the first time I made it, my bootie looked nothing like the one in the photo. However, the second time I made it, I got a little closer. (I would recommend using practice yarn for the first time you make this!) I think I have to practice working on getting my tension a little more even before I can be happy with making this again, but it is by no means the fault of the pattern. The pattern is amazing. It's really refined, and if I can just master it, I think it will look store-bought. Thank you, Florence!
